Hugely underrated, certainly did the best solo work of the four once the band broke up. Always carried two ukuleles when he travelled - one for him and one for you.

Seemed a good guy who did things his own way.
As said he was the one who stepped in to finance Life of Brian when everyone else chickened out under threat from the God lot.

Read that he gave some sound advice to Ure and Geldof regarding Band Aid after a lot of the money from his his own charity concert for Bangladesh "allegedly" didn't get to where it should have done and his advice helped them create the Band Aid Trust in 1985.
